Robert S Webb QC, Chairman

Robert Webb is currently Chairman of Darktrace Limited and a Director of Holdingham Group (formerly Hakluyt). He is a Door Tenant of Brick Court Chambers. Until 1998, Robert was a practicing Barrister, a Recorder and Head of Chambers at 5 Bell Yard, London. From 1998 to 2009 he was General Counsel of British Airways. He is also a past Chairman of BBC Worldwide and of Autonomy plc, a former Senior Independent Director of the London Stock Exchange and a Director of Argent Ltd and of Air Mauritius. He was General Counsel of Rolls-Royce Plc (2012-16). He is a Bencher of the Inner Temple and Trustee of Comic Relief, and a former Fellow of UNICEF.

Dr Mike Lynch OBE, Director

Celebrated as ‘Britain's Bill Gates’, Mike Lynch is a renowned technologist at the cutting-edge of fundamental new technologies. Having founded Autonomy in 1996, based on technology invented at Cambridge, it quickly became one of the most successful companies on the FTSE 100 and was acquired in 2011 for $11 billion. He went on to found investment firm Invoke Capital in 2012, which focuses on developing new fundamental technologies in Europe. Mike was named Computer Weekly's ‘Most Influential Person of the Year’ and won the Chartered Institute for IT's award for Outstanding Contribution to IT in 2011. He is a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, an honorary fellow of Christ's College, Cambridge, and a scientific advisor to the British Prime Minister.

Han Sikkens, Director

Han Sikkens is a managing director and member of various entities affiliated with Summit Partners L.P., a global growth equity firm that has raised more than $16 billion in capital, where he has been employed since 2004.

Han is currently a director of Acturis Limited, a provider of SaaS solutions to the insurance sector; Flow Traders N.V., an electronic liquidity provider in exchange traded products (Euronext: FLOW); Relex Solutions, a provider of supply chain software solutions; Masternaut Group Holdings Limited, a provider of SaaS telematics solutions; Siteimprove, a provider of SaaS web governance solutions; and Darktrace Limited. Previously, Han led Summit Partners' investments in 360 Treasury Systems AG, a multi-asset trading and workflow solutions SaaS platform; Avast Software B.V., a consumer security software company; Multifonds, a financial software company; SafeBoot Holdings B.V, a provider of enterprise security software; and Welltec International ApS, a provider of precision robotic solutions for oil and gas wells. Prior to joining Summit Partners L.P., Han held positions at Scotia Capital and IBM Corporation.

Han is a Dutch national and holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Groningen and a Master's degree in International Finance from the CERAM Graduate School of Management & Technology in France.

Stephen Shanley, Director

Stephen Shanley is a Principal on KKR’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications team focusing on European Growth Equity investments. In addition to Darktrace, he is actively involved with KKR’s investments in GetYourGuide, Trainline, ClickTale, Optimal+ and Arago. Prior to joining KKR, Stephen was with Technology Crossover Ventures in Palo Alto, California and subsequently London. Prior to TCV, Stephen was with the TMT investment banking group of Needham & Company and started his career in the transaction services group of KPMG. Stephen holds dual degrees from Santa Clara University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Nicole Eagan, Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer of Darktrace, Nicole Eagan has positioned the company as an international leader in cyber defense. Nicole was named ‘Woman of the Year’ at the 2016 Cyber Security Awards for successfully introducing disruptive machine learning technology to the global market. Her extensive career as a technology executive includes over 25 years of commercial and marketing experience. An expert in developing and executing strategies for high-growth businesses, Nicole helped Darktrace secure $75 million in Series D funding from Insight Venture Partners, KKR, and Summit Partners and led the company to $300 million in contract value. Under her leadership, Darktrace’s innovative approach to cyber security has won over 100 awards, including World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, CA and Cambridge, England and now has more than 620 employees working across 24 countries.

Andrew Kanter, Director

Andrew Kanter served as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Autonomy for twelve years, where he led its global legal and operations divisions and oversaw all major acquisitions and transactions. A qualified lawyer, Andrew was previously an attorney in private practice in San Francisco and London, specializing in venture capital, international M&A and corporate finance. Andrew also served as Clerk to Hon. Christine Miller of the US Court of Federal Claims, Washington D.C.

He holds a J.D. from the University of Southern California Law Center and a BA from Johns Hopkins University.

Vanessa Colomar, Director

Vanessa Colomar is Head of Communications & Investor Relations at technology investment firm Invoke Capital. Vanessa's expertise is in PR and communications, having held senior positions at agency Burston Marsteller in Madrid and New York. She previously served as SVP of Communications at Autonomy.

Vanessa holds a BA in Modern European Languages from Durham University, and an MA in Journalism from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
