An Immune System Approach: Darktrace Cyber AI Platform

The Darktrace Cyber AI Platform is an enterprise-wide approach to cyber defense. Modelled on the principles of the human immune system, the self-learning AI works by developing a unique understanding of what ‘normal’ looks like for everyone and everything across the digital business. This enables the AI to autonomously detect, investigate, and respond to the subtlest signals of emerging threat in real time – wherever they strike.

In this session, hear:

  • An introduction to the Darktrace Cyber AI Platform: self-learning AI technology across the digital organization
  • Real world case study: how AI autonomously detected a Microsoft 365 Compromise
  • A technology demo: see our award-winning threat visualisation interface

Augmenting Humans: Cyber AI Analyst

Darktrace Cyber AI Analyst is an AI investigation technology which automatically triages, interprets, and reports on the full scope of security incidents targeting the dynamic workforce. Using supervised machine learning, the AI mimics human thought processes to contextualise security events and translate its findings into easily digestible reports. This capability was instrumental in the remediation of an APT41 zero-day attack in 2020 – producing a report which was able to be actioned in minutes by the security team before the damage was done.

Includes:

  • An introduction to automated threat investigations, powered by Cyber AI
  • Real-world case study: the AI investigation of state-backed APT41 attack
  • 5-minute product demo

Autonomous Response: Darktrace Antigena

Antigena is the world’s first Autonomous Response technology. Powered by self-learning AI, it autonomously interrupts attacks at machine speed and with surgical precision, even if the threat is highly sophisticated and unknown. When a zero-day ransomware attack struck a manufacturing company, Antigena’s swift and targeted action stopped the threat seconds after it emerged, with only four files having been encrypted.

Join Justin Fier for an exploration of the AI in action, including:

  • How Antigena catches sophisticated and novel threats
  • What Offensive AI means for the future of cyber defense
  • 5-minute Antigena product demo

Protecting ICS and OT: Industrial Immune System

The Industrial Immune System is the Cyber AI technology responsible for protecting the Operational Technology behind some of the world’s most important industrial networks, from power stations to transportation grids. It works by passively learning what ‘normal’ looks like across OT, IT, and industrial IoT, detecting the subtlest signals of emerging cyber-threats.

When the industrial networks of an international airport were hit by an advanced cyber-attack, Darktrace detected the threat and reported on it at every stage, preventing a major incident from occurring.

In this session, discover:

  • Attacks against ICS and OT and what to expect in 2021
  • How Cyber AI caught an attack on an international airport

The Imitation Game: Combatting Impersonation Emails With AI

It’s not just spam. Attackers are now sending near-identical emails to those you receive every day from your boss and colleagues. Artificial intelligence is increasingly being leveraged to optimise this spear phishing, creating digital fakes that gain our confidence, and slip under the radar of standard email gateways.

AI has become the primary means of protecting inboxes from malicious emails, thanks to its understanding of the rich context around each email and email user. Before the user is served the bait, AI steps in to stop the email from being delivered, and even protects against malicious outbound email too. In this session, learn the real example of a sophisticated email attack that led to 1,600 tailored emails being sent from an employee account – and how AI would have stopped the phishing immediately.

Includes:

  • Introduction to Antigena Email, email security rated 5* by Gartner Peer Insights
  • Real-world case study – how legacy email solutions are being outperformed
  • 5-minute product demo

Protecting Cloud and SaaS With Cyber AI

Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Dropbox, Google Hangouts: whatever you are using, it’s clear that cloud and SaaS platforms are now fuelling business communication and collaboration. But for security teams, this can come at the cost of visibility and control. Organizations urgently need an enterprise-wide approach. Darktrace AI works from and for the cloud, detecting, investigating, and responding to threats in cloud and SaaS environments.

Our Director of Cloud Security shares his experience working with Darktrace customers on:

  • How to reconcile cloud adoption with security
