The seventh edition of the iconic Cyber Defence Executive Forum will be held on Wednesday 22nd November at The Ritz, London.
Darktrace, having just been named in the Sunday Times as Britain’s third-fastest growing tech company, is once again bringing together C-level executives and information security leaders from across all industries, to discuss the developing cyber-threat landscape and share experiences of new techniques and technologies, including artificial intelligence.
We are absolutely delighted to announce that Lord Evans of Weardale KCB will be giving the opening address to the Forum. Lord Evans was Director General of MI5 from 2007 to 2013. He spent 33 years with MI5, defending the UK against internal and domestic terrorism and cyber-threats. He was appointed to the Security Service's Management Board as Director of International Counter Terrorism in 2001, ten days before the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. He was later appointed to the House of Lords in 2014 at the personal recommendation of the Prime Minister and sits as a cross-bench peer. Lord Evans is also a non-executive Director of HSBC Holdings.
Other speakers include:
- David Thomas (CIO, Natural History Museum)
- Danny O’Connor (Head of IT, Sackers and Partners)
- Dave Palmer (Director of Technology, Darktrace)
Please note that some of the attending speakers have to remain anonymous due to the sensitive nature of their profession.
The Forum will include concise presentations, an Executive Panel with Q&A, and the traditional champagne and canapé networking reception.
Registration starts at 3:30pm, and the Forum will begin at 4:00pm, with the networking reception taking place from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
We are almost at full capacity, so please RSVP as soon as possible by emailing [email protected] to secure your space.
Please note that this event is not open to technology resellers, and is invite-only.
