The first edition of the Operational Technology Defense Forum (OTDF) will be held on Tuesday 28th November at the Ritz Hotel, St James, London.
The OTDF brings together a select group of C-level executives and operational security leaders to discuss the growing challenge of cyber-defense within ICS and SCADA environments. Darktrace, having recently been named in the Sunday Times as Britain’s third-fastest growing tech company and also won the Best Industrial Cyber Security Solution for its Industrial Immune System technology, this will be a great opportunity to attend.
We are absolutely delighted to announce that Mike Sherwood (Director of Technology and Innovation, City of Las Vegas), Martin Sloan (Head of Security, Drax Power) and Darren Hepburn (CISO, Network Rail) will be speaking at the OTDF.
Mike is the driving force behind the Las Vegas smart city initiative, an integrated, first-of-its-kind smart transportation system that uses IOT technology to improve the experience and lifestyle of the city’s 650,000 residents and 42 million yearly visitors. Mike has extensive experience working for major governmental organizations. Before joining the City of Las Vegas, Mike held the position of Deputy Director of Public Safety and City Technology for the City of Irvine, CA and prior to this was the Chief Information Officer for the City of Oceanside.
Martin Sloan is Group Head of Security at Drax Power – the UK’s largest power station. Martin has worked at Drax for the past 4 years and is responsible all aspects of security, with a key focus on digital security and managing the IT to OT convergence program. Before entering the private industry, Martin spent a number of years in the military and following this joined MI5 as a Senior Manager.
With cyber security being a critical concern for the Network Rail, Darren Hepburn holds the position as the Chief Information Security Officer and is responsible for heading up the security strategy, planning and execution.
Please note that some of the attending speakers have to remain anonymous due to the sensitive nature of their profession.
The Forum will include concise presentations, an Executive Panel with Q&A, and the traditional champagne and canapé networking reception.
Registration starts at 3:30pm, and the Forum will begin at 4:00pm, with the networking reception taking place from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
We are almost at full capacity, so please RSVP as soon as possible by emailing [email protected] to secure your space.
