Darktrace, the world leader in machine learning technology for cyber defense, has today announced that it won the ‘Digital Innovation’ award at the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 awards dinner this week. CEO Nicole Eagan gave a keynote speech at the ceremony, highlighting Darktrace’s stellar growth in response to massive demand for its machine learning technology for cyber defense. She also collected the award for Darktrace being named number 3 in the ranking of the UK’s top 100 private equity companies, which was announced in September 2017.

“We are honored to receive the ‘Digital Innovation’ award, in addition to being number 3 on the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 league table,” said Nicole Eagan, CEO, Darktrace. “Our brilliant engineering team has uniquely overcome the challenges with getting machine learning to work on live, complex networks without any training data sets or assumptions of what ‘bad’ looks like. As we recognize that cyber-crime is not a problem that can be tackled by humans alone, machine learning and AI are increasingly seen as a fundamental enabler for cyber defense. Darktrace is at the forefront of this shift.”
