Deloitte Bestows Prestigious Award on Darktrace
Darktrace’s Revenue Potential Recognized with ‘Rising Star’ Accolade
Darktrace, the world leader in machine learning technology for cyber defense, has today announced that it has been named ‘Rising Star’ at Deloitte’s UK Technology Fast 50 awards ceremony last night.
Revered as one of the UK’s most prestigious technology awards programs, Deloitte Technology Fast 50 celebrates the fastest-growing technology companies, based on revenue growth over the last four years. To mark the awards’ 20th anniversary, Deloitte has added an additional recognition which lauds the revenue potential of industry innovators and disruptors who have been in business for four years or less. The coveted recognition was bestowed on Darktrace thanks to the fundamental power of its machine learning technology for cyber defense and its stellar growth in just under four years.
“Being named ‘Rising Star’ at the Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50 awards is a great testament to the ground-breaking innovation behind our Enterprise Immune System, and to the fantastic growth that Darktrace has experienced as a result,” said Poppy Gustafsson, CEO EMEA, Darktrace. “Four years ago, we took the bold stance that cyber-threats will get inside networks or are already inside. We founded Darktrace with the vision that machine learning and AI would be a game-changer for the cyber security industry. Today, that vision has become a reality, and Darktrace is at the forefront of this revolution.”
Darktrace is the world’s leading machine learning company for cyber security. Created by mathematicians from the University of Cambridge, the Enterprise Immune System uses AI algorithms to automatically detect and take action against cyber-threats within all types of networks, including physical, cloud and virtualized networks, as well as IoT and industrial control systems. A self-configuring platform, Darktrace requires no prior set-up, identifying advanced threats in real time, including zero-days, insiders and stealthy, silent attackers. Headquartered in San Francisco and Cambridge, UK, Darktrace has 30 offices worldwide.
