Darktrace is Named on the Forbes Cloud 100 List for Third Consecutive Year
Darktrace, the world’s leading cyber AI company, today announced that it has been named on the Forbes Cloud 100 for the third year in a row. The list is regarded as the definitive ranking of the top 100 private cloud companies in the world, published by Forbes in partnership with Bessemer Venture Partners and Salesforce Ventures.
Darktrace is reinventing enterprise security by taking a fundamentally different approach that leverages the principles of the human immune system to autonomously defend organizations from cyber-attacks, insider threats and AI warfare. As organizations reset the way they work, remote or decentralized work and digital transformation projects are shifting critical data from data centers to everywhere.
This shift is not only accelerating cloud usage, but is also driving an increased focus from cyber-criminals on cloud and SaaS – Darktrace’s cyber AI technology has detected a 300% increase in attacks to these platforms over the last two quarters. Darktrace adapted to meet this challenge by delivering security from the cloud that is capable of identifying and neutralizing never-before-seen threats within cloud and SaaS applications before they can do damage.
“For five years now, we have ranked the best and brightest emerging companies in the cloud sector,” said Alex Konrad, Forbes editor of The Cloud 100. “With so many businesses growing fast in the cloud, from data infrastructure to marketing, it’s harder than ever to make the Cloud 100 list – but with more elite company if you do. Congratulations to each of the 2020 Cloud 100 honorees and the 20 Rising Stars honorees poised to join their ranks!”
“We are honored that Forbes has recognized Darktrace Cyber AI in the Cloud for the third year running,” said Nicole Eagan, Chief Strategy Officer and AI Officer at Darktrace. She continued, “With data, applications and employees everywhere, organizations are seeing security itself as a capability you also need everywhere. Darktrace’s self-defending systems delivered for the cloud and from the cloud help our customers protect their dynamic workforce across their entire digital infrastructure.”
The Forbes 2020 Cloud 100 is published online at www.forbes.com/cloud100 and will appear in the September 2020 issue of Forbes magazine.
