Statement regarding LockBit claims

Earlier this morning we became aware of tweets from LockBit, the cyber-criminal gang, claiming that they had compromised Darktrace’s internal security systems and had accessed our data. Our security teams have run a full review of our internal systems and can see no evidence of compromise. None of the LockBit social media posts link to any compromised Darktrace data. We will continue to monitor the situation extremely closely, but based on our current investigations we are confident that our systems remain secure and all customer data is fully protected.

Asia Pacific headcount has doubled in one year, with over 50 employees across 11 locations including Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, India, Australia and New Zealand.

Recent customers include a leading Singapore law firm, Shook Lin & Bok; global banking solutions provider, Avaloq; telecommunications provider, M800 Limited; leading international school, GEMS World Academy; global healthcare enterprise, Wockhardt; a leading new generation private sector bank in India and an IT subsidiary of one of the largest general trading companies in Japan, Marubeni IT Solutions, Inc.

We have seen massive demand for Darktrace’s advanced AI technology for cyber defense,” commented Sanjay Aurora, Managing Director, Asia Pacific at Darktrace. “This latest set of results is further testament to the fundamental power of our technology to protect networks of all sizes and degrees of complexity. Now deployed across a broad spectrum of networks, from local retailers to large banks and international schools, the Enterprise Immune System is the first and only machine learning technology that can detect and respond to even the most sophisticated cyber-threats in real time.”
