Issy Richards is Chief Product Officer (CPO) of Darktrace, a leader in behavioral security, enabling nearly 10,000 organizations worldwide to secure what AI can do. With its Adaptive AI, Darktrace continuously learns the unique behavior of each organization to protect AI, people, and infrastructure across the modern enterprise.

As CPO, Issy leads Darktrace’s product, UX and technical content organizations and sets the strategy and direction for our product portfolio. She is responsible for aligning priorities across the Darktrace Behavioral Defense Platform™, partnering with Engineering to advance innovative solutions that help customers adopt AI securely.

Issy joined Darktrace in May 2025 as Vice President of Product and later served as Interim Senior Vice President of Product.

She has nearly a decade of senior leadership experience at some of the UK’s leading AI-driven software companies, including Ocado Technology and Faculty AI, and has served as an advisor for several start-up accelerators. At Ocado, she led teams responsible for developing and launching its smart grocery platform and helped scale the technology organization during a period of significant growth, including establishing three new AI and robotics research centers in the UK.

Issy holds a Master of Studies in AI, Ethics and Society from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Physics and Philosophy from the University of Oxford.
