Ed Jennings
Ed Jennings is President and Chief Executive Officer of Darktrace, a global leader in AI for cybersecurity that protects nearly 10,000 organizations worldwide from evolving threats across their digital environment, including cloud, email, network, and operational technology.
Ed assumed the role of President and CEO in March 2026 to lead Darktrace’s next phase of growth. Ed is a proven growth executive with a track record of scaling software startups into category leaders and driving transformation within global enterprises. Ed is a people-focused leader with a skill for building high-trust, high-performance teams.
Prior to Darktrace, Ed served as CEO of Boston-based Quickbase, the cloud-based work management platform, where annual revenue doubled under his leadership. Prior to Quickbase, Jennings served as Chief Operating Officer at cybersecurity company Mimecast, where he helped lead its IPO and expanded the business across the globe. He has also held go-to-market leadership roles at Veracode, ADP, Copanion, and PTC.
Ed is a regular contributor to Fast Company, Fortune, TechCrunch, Forbes and other publications on the impact of AI on the future of work. Ed is a graduate of Boston College and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
